THE FOUNDER
Hi, I'm Jose. That's my wonderful and supportive wife, Andrea. I'm the founder and designer of The Ninth Project. Everything you'll find here was passionately and obsessively designed by me as part of my dream of creating a brand that keeps our mountains green.
THE PASSION BEHIND THE NAME
It was a dark night with a million stars. I was comfortably getting ready for a well-deserved escape into the mountains and a full night under the stars. I put on my headset and hit play, Beethoven No. 9 hits the choral portion and I dream of the wonderful planet we have. We are killing it.
80% of the world's forests are already gone. I wanted to make a difference and so I envisioned a brand that would plant trees with every order, everything we offer to the world would plant a tree and would give life back. That's how we started our journey to reforest the world and we named it The Ninth Project in virtue of that special night.
The Ninth Project is a brand that seeks to inspire adventure and the exploration of the unknown. We are the result of our passions and dreams, whatever consumes your ideas and time essentially defines you and we want to capture that concept and showcase it in our products through our minimal approach.

We decided to always remain a small business so we can provide that special attention to detail others can't. We only use premium materials, in-door manufacturing and lots of love, those are our signature values. Every item we offer is unique.
HELP US REFOREST THE WORLD
We are 150% eco-friendly. All our items are made thinking about their impact to our planet. We use significantly less energy and water during manufacturing, our products are very durable, they're made by adults, sweatshop-free and most important of all... they plant trees.
